At The French Workshop, we aim to provide a variety of engaging and accessible French workshops catering to all ages and levels of French. Our workshops are provided by experienced French teachers who are passionate about promoting the French language and francophone culture here in Guernsey.
We currently offer French workshops to Preschools & Nurseries and Primary School children aged 5-11 in our Children's Workshops. Our Preschool and Children's workshops combine lively language learning games, songs, traditional comptines, stories, arts and crafts allowing children to absorb the French language through the natural context of play. Crucially, our workshops emphasise the importance of having fun when learning a language!
We also provide Private workshops for adults and children whether you are a complete beginner or simply wish to build upon your existing skills. Private workshops are generally offered on a Private/Semi-Private/Group basis. In addition, our GCSE & A Level workshops provide support and French tuition for GCSE and A Level students.
For businesses and legal professionals we also offer structured, comprehensive workshops which can be delivered either in the workplace on a private/semi-private/group basis or as private tuition at home.
We run a successful holiday club during the school holidays with an optional traditional French breakfast, French learning in the morning and a variety of activities in the afternoon. Due to the popularity of the holiday club we strongly advise to book early to avoid disappointment.
More recently, we have been offering French-theme birthday parties to suit the little ones but the parents too as everything is catered for!
